The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing strategic HR support to leadership teams at the Divisional, Regional, District, and Store levels of our retail organization. This position is a business partner supporting the overall strategy and responsible for enabling management effectiveness by leading and focusing on initiatives related to workforce planning, employee relations, recruiting, change management, performance management, and legal compliance. This role will leverage resources and relationships to cultivate strong, long-term trusted partnerships with their assigned business units’ executives and team members as well as enhance Associates’ workplace experience. This role is a leadership position, with one direct report. This position reports into the Vice President of Human Resources. Company Overview

Job Responsibilities
Drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organizational change, structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives within the Organization in order to improve business efficiency and people management Work heavily with the recruitment team to play a significant role in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract and retain superior candidates Strategize and develop plans to retain and promote growth for talented employees; including but not limited to: long term planning, assessment, engagement, career paths, rewards, training, high potential management, etc. Respond to Employee Relations issues and conducts investigations for Associate complaints, harassment allegations, wrongful termination claims, DOL claims and performance management issues Provides counsel and support to retail leadership in resolving employee issues, executing disciplinary policies, conducting investigations, and monitoring case activity, ensuring follow through to resolution Counsels hiring managers regarding hiring practices and procedures and ensures compliance and understanding of EEO, hiring, and compensation guidelines Assists in all aspects of onboarding and orientation of new retail leadership, and plays a lead role in coordinating and facilitating the internal transfer and reassignment process, especially with new store development Ensure compliance with Federal and/or State labor and employment regulation changes. Identify gaps in existing HR policies and contribute to the development of new HR policies and procedures, consult and deliver new/amended policies and procedures into the business area Facilitate the development and/or delivery of company programs and other educational/training programs Recommend, develop, and implement programs to sustain positive employee morale, increase employee retention and support overall company objectives Create individual development plans & succession planning Create and maintain appropriate HRIS reports and metrics that can be used to identify areas of improvement/progress Other duties as assigned Qualifications
5+ years of diverse Human Resources Generalists/Business Partner experience with multi-unit/ multi-state experience Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree is a plus HRCI or SHRM Certification preferred Must be able to travel up to 35% in a large geographic area Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus Minimum of 2 years in a senior/leadership capacity Successful track record supporting multi-unit, multi-state operations at HR Manager level or above Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus Excellent working knowledge of HR principles, methods and procedures and Federal and State employment law including FMLA, COBRA, HIPPA and ADA and EEOC regulations, performance management, employee relations, and diversity Strong business acumen and ability to understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda and goals that supports the business Ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills; a role model for the use of the concepts and skills we teach and exceptional commitment to our Leadership Principles Experience with team building and team development Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and to navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes Demonstrated strong interpersonal and influence skills in dealing with all levels of management and effective at developing strong credibility and working relationships. Must have experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development and Succession Planning programs and best practices Ability to working cross functionally across geographies, cultures, up and down the organization with proven ability to build relationships, establish trust Ability to work self-directed, multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment with strict deadlines while demonstrating strong critical thinking, problem solving skills and a sense of urgency Action and detail oriented, strong customer service skills and drive for results, must be a team player.
