Automotive Mechanic, Poughquag, NY Speidell Supercars & Auto Repair is a full-service shop owned by James Speidell in Poughquag, New York. What you'll do: - Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, and steering - Perform engine and drivability repairs on cars and light trucks - Handle general maintenance for all makes and models - Work on performance builds and tuning projects - Complete transmission service and exhaust work - Run diagnostics using modern shop equipment - Support diesel service jobs as needed What you need: - Experience diagnosing and repairing cars or light trucks, 3 or more years preferred - Hands-on skills in brakes, suspension, steering, or engine work - ASE certification is a strong plus, especially A4, A5, or A6, but the shop will support the right tech who wants to certify - Trade school training is a bonus - Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday Pay is $20 to $32 per hour based on experience.
