Automotive Mechanic, St. Louis, MO (Multiple Locations) Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers has served the St. Louis area since 1976. They have grown to more than 180 locations across the Midwest and South. Dobbs is a full-service shop that handles everything from routine maintenance to complex engine repairs, and sells top tire brands for cars, trucks, SUVs, hybrids, and EVs. What you'll do: - Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, and steering systems - Perform engine repairs and drivability diagnostics - Complete oil changes, fluid services, and routine maintenance - Work on cars, light trucks, vans, SUVs, hybrids, and EVs - Inspect vehicles and explain findings clearly - Keep your work area clean and safe - Work with the team to get cars in and out on time What you need: - Experience diagnosing and repairing brakes, suspension, steering, or engines - ASE certification in A4, A5, A6, or related areas is a strong plus. Dobbs will support the right tech who wants to certify - 3 or more years of hands-on mechanical experience preferred - Ability to work a steady full-time schedule, including Saturdays - A track record of quality work and reliable attendance Pay: $25 to $45 per hour, based on experience. Full-time, Monday through Saturday. Shop hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. You will work five days a week within that schedule.
